Ian Silverii is the founding partner of The Bighorn Company, a political and communications firm in Colorado. Over the course of his 15 years in Colorado politics, Silverii served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House and Executive Director of the Colorado House Majority Project, and served 5 years as Executive Director of ProgressNow Colorado. Silverii also wrote opinion pieces for the Denver Post for three years. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver's Scrivner Institute for Public Policy.

Jason Bane is a former award-winning journalist who turned to politics and has since worked for many Democratic organizations, including labor unions and environmental groups. He is the founder of the popular political website ColoradoPols.com and currently works as a political consultant. 

Jason co-hosts the Get More Smarter Show and taught himself how to edit audio files, which so far has gone better than expected. He lives in Lakewood with his wife, Julie, three children, two dogs, and a cat.
